Responsible for providing oversight and leadership for all activities related to the Talent Acquisition function of the Human Resources department while fostering an environment of accountability, excellence, collaboration, and innovation. This position will lead the transformation of the VNAHG talent acquisition strategy, policy and processes to better serve the business, build a solid foundation for growth and achieve our strategic goal of “Recruit and Retain to Win”.
Job Competencies: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Accounting or related field; Master’s degree preferred. 7+ years of relevant experience with specific talent acquisition knowledge including 5 years in healthcare recruiting. Strong HR and business acumen with demonstrated success with process improvement and operational excellence.
Excellent communication, analytical and people management skills. Previous experience managing a recruiting team to include staff development, performance management, coaching and mentoring required. Must be able to drive the recruiting process forward and provide creative solutions to complex recruiting challenges. Experience with technologies, systems and vendors that support talent acquisition strategies and processes. High degree of initiative; must be able to work independently and be a self-starter. Must have proven abilities to effectively work with all levels of management and develop effective working relationships. Knowledge of Federal, State and local employment laws and regulations
